What we’re about
The Brooklyn Depression Support Group meetings will be hosted by Jean and/or Amy. They are held on Saturdays, 2:30-4:00 p.m., on Zoom. We look forward to seeing you!

The first rule of survival is: you need a support system. And when one is struggling with depression and or anxiety it's particularly hard to build one. It is my hope that this group could be a beginning. If you're in Brooklyn and dealing with your darkness, this group is for you. It is meant to share stories, tips on overcoming this illness and information about how to find reliable and affordable treatments, but also for enjoying common interests and organizing useful distractions for each other.
A note from your humble organizer: I would like this group to be particularly welcoming and accessible to those who don't have a lot of disposable income and can't afford fancy paid counseling or retail therapy.
PLEASE READ THE RULES if you just joined and are planning to attend the next meeting. (Find them by clicking More on main menu above and then Pages, then click on the Group Rules page.)
