Brooklyn Gardeners/Farmers

The purpose of this meetup is to promote food independence and the joy of gardening and farming both in every landscape. There will be occasional excursions to farms upstate to see organic, holistic practices and opportunities to volunteer and learn. This meetup is for individuals who are either currently gardening/farming in the city or who want to learn, right now. If you live in another borough, but can come to meetups in Brooklyn, you are welcome to join. All members will be able to suggest meetups - our goal is to build stronger support networks for gardeners by sharing information, skills, materials and labor.
