Hike at Clove Lakes Park, Staten Island
Details
Clove Lakes Park is a gem of a park offering wildlife, lakes, and foresets including Staten Island's oldest tree, a 300 year old Tulip tree. When I scouted the park I saw countless birds including herons and a gang of wild turkeys!
We'll start by hiking up "heart attack hill" (which, by the way, is actually not very steep) and walk for about 30 minutes through wooded areas. Then we'll pause for a 5 minute guided mediation and journal for 20 minutes (write, notate, or sketch the natural surroundings, after which we'll loop back out of the park along the lake (15 minutes).
MEET UP SPOT:
We'll meet by the public restrooms in the parking lot (see pic below). Here's a link to the exact meet up spot:

Make sure you find the parking lot at the intersection of Park Drive and Clove Road, Staten Island, NY 10301
This park is more easily accessible by car, if you're coming from another borough I'd recommend the Staten Island Ferry and then get an Uber to the park.
