Details

Step away from the screen, walk by the water, and have a conversation that goes beyond small talk.
For our first NYC Walk Therapy event, we’ll meet at Pier 17 and take a relaxed 45-minute waterfront walk. Along the way, we’ll rotate conversation partners and use a few thoughtful prompts about life, relationships, change, and where we find ourselves right now.
We’ll return to Pier 17 for a short group reflection, followed by an optional drink or bite at Watermark on Pier 15. Alcohol is completely optional, and everyone pays for their own order.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This is designed to feel more meaningful than a typical networking event, but there is never pressure to disclose anything personal. Share only what feels comfortable. We ask everyone to listen without judgment, avoid unsolicited advice, and treat other people’s stories with respect and discretion.
The walk will be at a comfortable conversational pace. We’ll generally walk in groups of 2-3.

WHAT TO BRING

A NOTE ABOUT THE NAME
Despite the playful name, NYC Walk Therapy is not therapy, counseling, or a mental-health service. It’s a facilitated social walk for movement, thoughtful conversation, and genuine human connection.
