    Hello Brooklyn Psychedelic Society Community!

Are you interested in exploring the healing power of breath? Please join us for a Shamanic Breathwork Workshop with Rob Heffernan, held on Wednesday, February 8th, from 7-10pm, at 456 Johnson Ave.

The workshop will begin with a sound meditation, moving into an hour of breathwork, then a set time for integration afterward. If you are new to breathwork, be aware this modality can evoke altered states similar to that of the psychedelic experience, where it’s possible to reach deep levels of consciousness. Please come prepared for potential journeying. It is also an excellent tool for integration and a powerful healing modality in and of itself.

Rob is a certified Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator, a certified Sound and Music Practitioner, and a long-time practitioner of Buddhist Dharma. He has been actively involved with the Peruvian curandero tradition and the Santo Daime for 20 years. He is the chair of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant medicine and helps organize people in the sacred medicine community.

You should bring the following: a comfortable mat/bedding, blanket, pillow, water, and tissues. We hope you can join us as we open up to the power of the breath.

**PLEASE NOTE: Once you purchase a ticket, we will email you the required health and safety waiver form. You must sign this waiver before arriving at the event. You will not be able to participate if the waiver is not signed.

***REFUND POLICY: If you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket, please let us know ASAP so that we can release your spot to someone on the waitlist. All refund requests must be made more than 24hrs before the event. We cannot guarantee a refund requested within 24hrs of the event. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending and you are unable to give us at least 24hrs notice, please email us explaining the situation and we will do our best to accommodate.

Email [masked] if you have any questions or need financial assistance in order to participate.

BPS Invites you to join us for a Cacao Ceremony!

100% Pure Ceremonial Cacao is a special and sacred plant medicine for the heart that helps us open up and heal gently, while inviting more creativity, joy and love into our lives. Cacao is an ancient plant medicine of the heart used by natives throughout Central and South America, and it is now making its way out into the western world to connect us back to ourselves: our bodies, our spirits, and the earth.

The ceremony provides a space and a structure to reconnect; to take a step away from the hustle of daily life and intentionally enter into a state of sacred openness. Ceremonial practices can honor and mediate experiences with plant medicines by providing a container for the experience, extended through communal support.

This ceremony will be led by Masha; a curious soul seeker, Keith’s Cacao Practitioner, certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Focalizing (Somatic) Practitioner, IFS-informed, Yogi and Mystic. Through her own journey of transformation, she has explored many paths to gain a deeper connection to her soul, her intuition, her body, and the multi-dimensional world we live in. She guides adventurous souls to step into their most vibrant authentic selves to make an impact in the world.

We take a moment to acknowledge the deep cultural traditions surrounding these practices, and extend gratitude to Masha for sharing a glimpse into this depth. With humility and mindfulness, we invite you to reflect upon your cultural context surrounding your engagement with these practices.

We will hold a ceremony on Saturday, February 25th, from 5-8pm at 13 Grattan St (near the Morgan L stop). Tickets are priced at $50 and capacity for the ceremony is limited to 20 people to hold space for everyone to share. Please bring a yoga mat or seat cushion! If you have any questions or need financial assistance to attend, please contact [masked].

We look forward to hosting you!

***REFUND POLICY: If you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket, please let us know ASAP so that we can release your spot to someone on the waitlist. All refund requests must be made more than 24hrs before the event. Because the cacao used in this ceremony must be prepared in advance, we cannot refund tickets within 24hrs of the event.
