Sandwich-Making for Hungry New Yorkers
Details
The “One Big Beautiful Bill” and The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have created a new population of hungry people who have lost jobs and/or benefits and who don’t have assets to feed themselves.
Join Brooklyn Ethical for a day of service as we prepare sandwiches for CHiPS (Community Help in Park Slope), a nonprofit dedicated to combating hunger and homelessness in our neighborhood. Together, we’ll support their vital work by helping provide nourishing meals to those in need. Join us for an hour or two, no need to stay the whole time.
Bring sandwich materials and/or your sandwich making skills and help be a part of the solution to this crisis!
