💃🕺 Salsa Afternoon at Washington Square Park

⚠️Tomorrow it might rain, and if that happens, our plan B will be to meet at Solas Bar.⚠️

📍 Location: 232 E 9th St #1, New York, NY 10003

The class costs $15 — totally worth it because after the class there will also be free dancing.

📍 Meeting Point:
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the dancing starts (6:00pm), right under the trees to the right of the arch, facing the fountain. It’s a shaded area with benches, perfect for gathering without interrupting other events.
👉 Look for people speaking Spanish or wearing salsa-ready outfits 💃🕺🎵

🎉 Why arrive early?
We want everyone to feel comfortable from the start, especially if it’s your first time. We’ll do a quick icebreaker activity to make it easier to switch partners during the dance 🔄💬

💃 No need to bring a partner! Many of us already know each other from the group, and the idea is to rotate and connect with everyone 🫶🎶

This event is perfect if you want to:

🗣️ Practice Spanish in a relaxed and fun environment

🌇 Dance salsa outdoors in one of NYC’s most iconic parks
👣 Have fun even if you don’t know how to dance (we’ll help you with the basic steps!) 😉

Queremos que todos se sientan cómodos desde el principio, especialmente si es tu primera vez. Haremos una actividad rápida para romper el hielo y que sea más fácil cambiar de pareja durante el baile 🔄💬

💃 ¡No necesitas traer pareja! Muchos de nosotros ya nos conocemos del grupo, y la idea es rotar y conectar con todos 🫶🎶
