Hey Photo Explorers!
Get ready to do some street photography at Brooklyn Flea. This place is a goldmine for street photography – think vintage vibes, cool vendors, delicious food, and tons of interesting folks just being themselves. Every corner is a shot waiting to happen.
We're meeting at the DUMBO Archway. It's going to be super chill, so bring whatever camera you've got – DSLR, mirror-less camera, trusty phone, even that old film camera. Anything that takes pictures is ok.
We'll wander, explore, and capture all the unique energy of the Brooklyn Flea. We'll chat about spotting cool moments, snagging those candid shots respectfully, and generally just having a good time while making some great photos.
What to bring: Your camera, comfy shoes, good vibes, and maybe some cash for snacks or a cool find.

Join fellow Brooklyn Photo Explorers for an exciting afternoon capturing the vibrant, whimsical, and utterly unique spectacle of the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade!
This iconic Brooklyn event is a photographer's dream, brimming with incredible costumes, creative floats, and fascinating characters. From mythological creatures to nautical-themed masterpieces, you'll find endless opportunities to hone your street photography, portraiture, and action shots.
The parade usually runs from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The hosted portion of this event is from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Capture the magic of this truly unique Brooklyn tradition with other photography enthusiasts.
