"Kiki Tiki" Party at the Koneko Cat Cafe on Labor Day (Monday, September 4th)

PLEASE NOTE: Not an "official" New York City Cat Meetup Group" event, just FYI for members who may want to attend

Koneko Cat Cafe is having a "Kiki Tiki" Party this Monday, September 4th. As of this writing, the 12 noon slot was open and the 4 pm slot was open (the 7:00 pm slot was sold out). Seating is for 2 hours, ie, 12 noon to 2 pm, and again at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: tickets must be purchased online directly from Koneko and are $50.00 each.

Here is the description of the event from the Koneko website:

The festivities will feature an all-you-can-eat Hawaiian menu, and all-you-can-drink beer and spiked punch. We’re talking pork sliders with grilled pineapple, seafood poke, fresh tropical fruit, the works.

Sip on some tiki punch and kick back with 20 of the sweetest kittehs around, all while swaying to the tune of a Tropicália playlist. Is this paradise or Koneko?! (The answer is both.)

There will be three seatings for our Kiki Tiki Party: 12PM - 2PM, 4PM - 6PM, and 7PM - 9PM. All food and drinks will be cooked by Koneko's founder Benjamin Kalb, who formerly cooked in the kitchens of Bouley and Momofuku Noodle Bar.

*Dressing up is not mandatory, but definitely encouraged! (And who knows, maybe there’s something in it for you if you do! Wink wink.)
