We are a fun and welcoming place to come together and bring fantastic creations to life. Some of our meetups have included learning about Arduino, knitting, sewing, 3D printers, and Linux, making crepe paper roses, chainmaille, and jewelry, and working on a CNC router, as well as attending Maker Faires all over Colorado and visiting with our neighbor makerspaces. We are located at 7000 W 117th Ave Unit A in Broomfield, Colorado. Available tools include a woodshop, laser cutter, 3D printers, electronics workstation, and a textiles area.
The communities built around makerspaces are typically filled with makers with many different fields of expertise. That expertise is shared among the members through classes and workshops, as well as through informal hangouts. Makers themselves come in many shapes and sizes, and makers may not even know they are makers until they are given the opportunity to create something! The community includes makers of many ages, interests, and skill levels, all sharing the common goal of wanting to have fun and make things.
