Come out for a morning of birding to spot some migratory birds along their journeys on the Atlantic Flyway! We will be birding every other Saturday morning of September and October at different locations throughout the county.

Join the trip to west Broward to Markham Park in Sunrise! The address is 16001 FL-84, Sunrise, FL 33326.

Markham Park, located in Sunrise, spans over 660 acres along the eastern edge of the Everglades and offers a diverse range of recreational and natural amenities. The park features extensive mountain biking trails, a model airplane field, a target range, a butterfly garden, and multiple nature trails that wind through pine forests and wetland edges. It also serves as a gateway to the Conservation Levee Greenway, providing scenic views of the Everglades and excellent birdwatching opportunities. The park’s varied habitats attract a wide array of birds, including wading birds, raptors, and migratory songbirds. We will walk the nature trails to the Conservation Levee and see what is out on the glades.
