Group Dog Walk for Recently Adopted Dogs from Brown Dog Coalition
Details
Get support and training advice and connect with other recent adopters and fosters from Brown Dog Coalition!
Join us in the Arnold Arboretum for a 1-hour group walk in the Roslindale/West Roxbury/Jamaica Plain area led by Lindsey Fontana-Dreszer, a dog trainer and behavior consultant who runs Hazeldog Training and Behavior. We’ll start each meetup with a 10-15 minute lesson on one aspect of adopting and training a new dog. Then, we’ll head out for a 45-minute walk, connecting with and supporting each other, making new friends, and getting training help and advice from Lindsey as we go.
Ground Rules:
- Open to BDC adopters and fosters only.
- Dogs should be comfortable greeting dogs of all sizes and temperaments on leash. If you aren’t sure if it’s a good fit for your dog, reach out to BDC or to Lindsey to ask!
- Force-free, positive reinforcement training only. No shock, prong, or chain collars, or slip leads.
