Sunday Roast Lunch @ The Aviator, Sywell (Change of Venue as C&H Chef ill)

Unfortunately owing to Chef of Coach & Horses falling ill we have disappointingly had to postpone our Sunday Lunch event there (but we will reschedule once Chef returns.) See below message we received from them this evening :

Meantime, as an alternative 11 of us will now be going for Sunday Lunch at The Aviator in Sywell at 11.45 a.m. for lunch sit down at 12.00 mid-day.
****** Reception have advised that it will be a very busy weekend at The Aviator as it is The British Aerobatics Championship Weekend, so lunch will be served at mid-day promptly due to the number of residents etc.

MENU :
To Start

• Apple cider parsnip soup with veg crisps and a bread roll (V)(VE)(GFO)
• Breaded chicken bites with garlic mayo and dressed leaves
• Aviator Prawn Cocktail with beetroot (GF)

The Main Event

• Roast Beef (GFO),
• Home glazed gammon (GFO)
• Pan fried Chicken supreme (GFO)

All the above dishes are served with homemade Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, honey roast root vegetables, seasonal greens and gravy

• Poached haddock with roasted new potatoes, seasonal greens with a cheese and chive sauce
• Wild mushroom and spinach risotto with parmesan (V) (VEO) (GF)

SIDES: Cauliflower Cheese £3.50, Roasted Potatoes £3.50
Something Sweet

• Warm chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream (GFO)
• Lemon tart with a mixed berry compote and Chantilly cream
• Selection of 2 cheeses: Cheddar, Red onion cheddar, Brie, Stilton, Smoked Applewood, served with celery, grapes and crackers (GFO)
