Welcome to Brunch Social NYC!

This group is for anyone in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who wants to build real friendships in New York through small, in-person meetups like brunches and coffee chats in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.

New York can feel huge and fast-paced, and it’s not always easy to move from casual conversations to real connections. That’s where we come in. Our focus is simple: small groups, real conversations, and the chance to meet people you’ll actually want to see again.

How it works:
We host gatherings of 4–6 people at local brunch spots and cafés around New York. Each meetup is intentionally small to make it easier for everyone to talk, connect, and feel included. It’s about community, not just events — many members stay in touch after their first meetup and meet again on their own.

We use Groupvibe to coordinate each meetup. Groupvibe is a platform designed to help people connect offline by organizing small-group social experiences. While we use the Groupvibe system for scheduling and coordination, this Meetup group exists to build genuine, local community. There is no requirement to purchase anything to be part of this group beyond covering your own food or drink at venues.

Group affiliation:
This group is organized by the team behind Groupvibe. We are transparent about this affiliation, and our intention on Meetup is to create opportunities for members to connect with one another in person. The primary purpose of Brunch Social NYC is community-building through small, in-person gatherings in New York.

Who should join?
Anyone in New York (ages 25–45) who is looking for more meaningful social experiences — especially if you prefer smaller, more intentional gatherings over large networking-style events. Whether you’re new to the city or have been here for years and want to expand your circle, you’re welcome here.
