The Nest Monthly Circle

This is a monthly support group for people recovering from narcissistic abuse — in relationships, family, or any other form of close connection that left you doubting your sense of self.

We meet in a private room at the community centre in Coburg to share stories, hold space for each other, and support one another in the process of healing.

You’re welcome whether you’re just beginning to make sense of what happened, or already deep in the process of breaking the trauma bond and reclaiming yourself. There’s no pressure to speak — being present and listening is just as valuable.

What to expect:
We’ll sit in a circle together. The space is open for honest sharing, quiet reflection, and mutual support. This is not therapy, but a peer space where all experiences are valid and no one needs to perform or explain themselves.

Group agreements:
To keep the space safe and supportive for everyone, we ask that you:
• Respect confidentiality — what’s shared in the room stays in the room
• Speak from your own experience (“I” statements)
• Refrain from giving advice unless someone explicitly asks for it
• Avoid judgement or interrupting
• Stay substance-free before and during the gathering
• Arrive on time and commit to staying for the full two hours if possible

The room will be open a few minutes before the start time so we can settle in together. Tea and tissues provided. Bring whatever you need to feel comfortable.

Contribution:
This group is run on a not-for-profit basis. To help cover the room hire and the cost of running the Meetup page, we ask for a $10–15 contribution per person, depending on what you can comfortably afford.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds — if money is tight, please come anyway. Your presence matters more than your payment.
