About us
Welcome to Brush Strokes and Battle Stories Guild! We're a laid-back community for anyone who loves painting tabletop miniatures, whether you're a total beginner just starting with your first Space Marine or a seasoned hobbyist working on your tenth army. We get together regularly to paint, share techniques, troubleshoot tricky projects, and just enjoy the creative process together. No judgment here—messy first attempts, happy accidents, and slow progress are all part of the journey.
This is really about building community around a hobby we all love. We'll talk about painting styles and techniques, swap recommendations for brushes and paints, and honestly just encourage each other through the frustrations and victories of this hobby. Whether you're into Warhammer, historical miniatures, board game painting, or anything in between, there's a spot for you. Bring whatever project you're working on, or just come to hang out and get inspired by what others are creating.
Our meetups are casual and welcoming. If you're nervous about showing your work or worried you're not "good enough" yet, trust me—everyone here started exactly where you are. We're all just here to improve at our own pace, share in the creative process, and maybe swap some good war stories (both from our painting tables and our actual game nights). Come as you are, and let's paint some cool stuff together.
