What we’re about
Modus Vivendi: Embodied Earth is the first eco-somatic art festival unfolding across Brussels from June 1 to 8, 2025. It brings together artists, movers, facilitators, and communities for a week of workshops, performances, and gatherings held in both nature and indoor spaces.
At its heart, the festival is an invitation to slow down and return to the body. It’s about presence, connection, and care. How we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to the places we move through. Rooted in somatics, ecological awareness, and collective creation, the festival offers a space to explore aliveness through art, movement, and shared experience.
You’ll find sensory workshops, site-based performances, soft spaces to rest and reflect, artistic residences and moments that feel both intimate and alive. Some events are quiet and spacious, others more active and participatory, but all are shaped with love, attention and curiosity.
