Authentic Touch - in the framework of the Festival Modus Vivendi 🌊🪼

Details

✨ Are you craving for a space to explore a universal need — the one of touching and being touched — in a platonic way, in order to cultivate a new language? A space to meet. To discover your resistances, your fears, your desires.

54% of people report a lack of touch in their lives. The main reasons are issues around consent and a lack of social interaction.
[BBC Radio 4 survey]

This edition of Authentic Touch takes place as part of the Modus Vivendi eco-somatic festival and aims to raise awareness around the following themes :

🪁 Who are we when we remove the roles and the noise? How do we connect authentically with ourselves?
🪁 How can we live slowly, sensitively, and in rhythm with the Earth in often overstimulating urban environments?
🪁 The ecology of relationships
How can we relate collectively, viewing relationships as a living ecosystem?

🗝️ About the method

This workshop is a blend of authentic relating (AR) and consent-based games.
AR is a practice of presence and slowness, self-acceptance and self-love, as well as observation of thoughts and emotions.
Consent work deepens our understanding of personal boundaries, desires, and the creation of authentic connection within a kind and respectful framework.

❤️‍🔥 About the facilitator

Daphné discovered authentic relating in Denmark, where she lived for three years. This practice arrived at the perfect time — during COVID — when she spent many weeks indoors with a small group, learning to connect, hold space for emotions, and manage tensions. She learned by doing.
She is now a certified authentic relating facilitator and a therapist specialized in emotional expression. She has already guided over 500 people toward their authenticity through 50+ workshops and one-on-one sessions.
Her unique toolkit combines art therapy, nonviolent communication, and emotional work. In her workshops in Brussels, she creates a safe space for people to ground themselves, feel deeply, and reconnect with who they are.
Her approach? Less theory, more transformative experience. Because authenticity isn’t taught — it’s lived.

🌿 Testimonials about Authentic Touch

🗣️ Kris:

“For me, it was a wonderful experience. I hadn’t stopped thinking like that in a long time, and I hadn’t felt like a child playing and having fun in ages. I wasn’t afraid of being touched, giving and receiving feedback. It was a huge step forward for my self-confidence. Thank you for creating this bubble of safety and joy.”

🗣️ Bak:

“Thank you for this incredible event. The space had a special energy. At first, it was hard for me, because I used to attend this type of workshop with my ex-girlfriend. Now I was surrounded by strangers, outside my comfort zone. But thanks to you and the other participants, I quickly gained confidence. I felt relaxed and fully present — exactly what I was hoping for. I’m happy to say that this session gave me so much, and your spontaneous guidance was truly valuable. Keep up the amazing work.”

🗣️ Manisha:

“I wholeheartedly recommend Daphné and her Authentic Touch event! I came with no expectations and was blown away by the experience. It was incredibly deep, magical, and allowed me to express real vulnerability. The space was held with great kindness and sensitivity, and I felt completely safe to feel and express my emotions. It was truly a transformative experience.”
