- 52km out-and-back along the canal to Marina Ittre—all flat and all paved (26km each way).
- Estimated moving time 3hrs not including lunch and some brief stops.
- Lunch at the turnaround point at Marina Ittre. They have two basic foodstuffs: ham-and-cheese croques and spaghetti—but you can bring your own.
- Meet at De Sluis—also called L'Ecluse—at Parc de la Porte de Ninove. This will likely be closed so make sure you're well watered and caffeinated in advance.
