Debate Night: Public displays of affection

Details
PDAs : Sweet, scandalous… or something in between?
A kiss on the cheek, a lingering hug, a hand held tightly, or even a full on make-out session in the street… For some, these are harmless signs of affection. For others, they’re awkward, uncomfortable, or even inappropriate.
Are public displays of affection a beautiful expression of love in a world that needs more of it? Or are they just attention-seeking performances that cross personal boundaries?
From cultural clashes and legal restrictions to questions of freedom, decency, and double standards, PDA is more than just a stolen kiss. It’s a flashpoint for deeper societal debates.
Join us for a lively discussion where we’ll unpack where affection ends and controversy begins. Bring your arguments, open minds, and (please) keep your hands where we can see them 😜
Participants who wish to speak need to bring a paper and pen.
You are welcome to participate even if you have no prior debating experience.
