Debate Night: Mental health

Details

Mental health is the "invisible" side of our well-being, yet it impacts every aspect of our lives, our relationships, productivity, self-image, and even physical health. In recent years, conversations about anxiety, depression, burnout, and emotional resilience have grown louder, but stigma and misunderstanding still linger.

Mental health has become one of the central challenges of our modern societies. While awareness is growing, questions remain about how best to support individuals, especially young people during formative years of their lives.

This debate invites us to explore key questions: How should societies prioritize mental health compared to physical health? Should psychological care be treated like any other form of health care, or does it require a different approach? And to what extent should individuals be held accountable for managing their own mental health?

Join us as we challenge assumptions, exchange perspectives, and shed light on one of the most pressing issues of our time. Mental health is no longer a private matter, it’s a collective concern. Let’s debate how we should address it.

Participants who wish to speak need to bring a paper and pen.

You are welcome to participate even if you have no prior debating experience.
