Marriage has long been seen as one of life's biggest milestones but the way people think about it is changing. More people are marrying later in life, choosing not to marry at all, or redefining what commitment looks like. At the same time, expectations around love, family, careers, and personal fulfillment continue to evolve.

What role does marriage still play in modern society? Is it becoming less relevant, or simply taking on a new meaning? And what do these changing trends say about the way we approach relationships today?

Join us for an open and thought-provoking debate as we explore how marriage is evolving, why attitudes are shifting, and what the future of long-term commitment might look like.

This debate will follow a British Parliamentary format with eight debaters split into four teams of two.

Participants who wish to speak are highly encouraged to bring a paper and pen. You are welcome to participate even if you have no prior debating experience.
