How to build a procedurally animated flame in Houdini ? (Nabil Jabour)
In this talk, we'll see how we can procedurally build and animate a lighter's flame in Houdini using some neat VEX techniques and some basic modeling tools! Everything runs almost in realtime in the viewport.

Procedural flesh generator (Kris Catteau)
Kris Catteau will give some insights into how he created his procedural flesh generator for unreal. The talk will focus on the process of creating a procedural flesh generator that works on top of an existing environment, creating believable layered flesh tendrils, and how we set up parametres for the procedural generation with user-friendly-ness for level designers and env artists in mind. We'll cover a few practical Unreal Engine techniques for blending procedural materials with the scene and briefly looks at how the alien flesh texture is made in Substance Designer.

Fish Photogrammetry Processing Houdini (Benjamin Yde)
During this talk Benjamin will show the process of creating an asset from photogrammetry scans of fish in Houdini. Multiple fishes are then simulated as softbodies and rendered using Solaris. The resulting data is used for synthetic data generation to train an AI model for detecting ETP species (Endangered, threatened, and protected) during fishing activities in the North Sea.
