TIMEWALKERS 3: THE CELTIC TREE ALPHABET

In the early middle ages a mysterious new script was developed in the Celtic lands to the west, Ireland and Wales: the OGHAM. This script had its roots in the Celtic knowledge of the forest, with each letter linked to a specific tree. On this walk we will explore the Ogham, its history and its surprising contemporary value as an ecological tool. And of course, the trees of the Sonian Forest will be our guides.
