THIS IS A VERY RARE OCCASION WHERE I CANNOT ATTEND AN EVENT I HAVE POSTED. FOR THOSE WHO ARE NEW TO THE GROUP AND/OR FIRST TIME VISITORS, WEEKNIGHT FILMS DON’T HAVE ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES CONNECTED TO THEM. THERE’S NOWHERE WE CAN GO THAT IS STILL OPEN AFTERWARDS TO DISCUSS THE FILM.
IF YOU’RE NEW TO OUR GROUP, PLEASE MEET EACH OTHER IN FRONT OF THE CASABLANCA MOSAIC NEXT TO THE CONCESSION STAND IN THE INNER LOBBY AT 7 PM. WE MEET THERE AFTER THE FILM AS WELL TO DISCUSS IT UNTIL THE THEATER HAS TO CLOSE AND ASKS US TO LEAVE 😄IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME JOINING US, I APOLOGIZE, BUT I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU NEXT. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING!

A broken leg has “Jeff” Jefferies (James Stewart) apartment bound, but at least he’s got his gorgeous girlfriend (Grace Kelly) and his telephoto lens, which is great for spying on the folks across the way. When a bedridden neighbor suspiciously vanishes, Jeff begins to suspect her husband of foul play. Has his imagination run wild? Or has he really stumbled upon a murder?
The screening on Tuesday, July 8, is presented in conjunction with a Cinema Classics Seminar taught by Alice Bullitt, M.A. Seating for screening-only attendees will begin at 7:00 pm. Just want to see the film? Purchase your tickets from the BMFI website.
