TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

Alabama, the ‘30s. A young girl awakens to the realities of racism when her lawyer father takes on the defense of a Black man accused of assaulting a white woman. The American Film Institute voted Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck) the greatest film hero of all time in this adaptation of the Pulitzer-winning novel.

The screening on Thursday, April 23, is presented in conjunction with a Cinema Classics Seminar taught by Alice Bullitt, M.A. Seating for screening-only attendees will begin at 7:00 pm.
