Champagne BS 8878 Book launch

Details

Many thanks for being part of this BS 8878 Meetup over the years. Sorry that meetups have been rare. That’s about to change…

You are warmly invited to a Champagne Reception to celebrate the launch of Professor Jonathan Hassell's highly anticipated book 'Including Your Missing 20% By Embedding Web & Mobile Accessibility'.

Almost 20% of the world’s population has some form of disability or impairment that impacts their use of digital products. Yet digital accessibility is often a misunderstood concept.

In his new book Professor Jonathan Hassell, award-winning international thought-leader in digital inclusion and lead-author of the BS 8878 British Standard on Web Accessibility, will take you on a journey to transform your organisation to achieve the consistent creation of web products that are usable and accessible to all your customers, at the most efficient cost.

Four years after BS 8878’s publication, Jonathan has written the complete guide to implementing BS 8878, drawing on his 14 years of experience embedding accessibility in organizations' business-as-usual processes, and 2 years of writing and collecting video case-studies from experts doing this embedding all over the world.
