Web Accessibility London 2011 Unconference (a11yLDN) (free)

Details
Web Accessibility London 2011 unconference (a11yLDN) is a 1-day event that will take place at City University London on 21st September 2011 (10am to 4pm).
The unconference will have a cognitive impairment and mental health theme, as it is believed they are a widely under-represented population within web accessibility. However the unconference will also consider the wider-disability population.
As part of the event Jonathan Hassell will present a summary of BS8878 with ample time for questions and discussion from those attending.
The event will be structured with short presentations that have ‘longer’ discussions, i.e. a place for people to learn from each other. Workshops will be also offered to give attendees the opportunity to try out existing, new and emerging assistive technology.
The event is directed at end-users, web designers and developers (web accessibility and user experience), editors and authors, accessibility specialists, universities and companies, charities and more specifically the movers and shakers of web accessibility.
Tickets are FREE and will be released in 3 rounds:
1st round: 7 September at 12noon
2nd round: 12 September at 12noon
3rd round: 16 September at 12noon
