About the Artist:
Krystal (she/her) is a Queer Latina Woman and a community taught artist who mainly works with acrylic paint. The natural beauty of this Earth moves her to paint and create artwork. She often combines this inspiration with her interest in dreams and the subconscious world, as well as her education in philosophy and psychology.
Her artwork primarily consists of what she refers to as Dreamworlds, or dreamlike scenes and landscapes. Her artworks contemplates the nature of dreams and reality, and how much these worlds overlap or intersect.
Her creative practice is a practice of bringing Dreams to life, and she hopes her artwork reminds the audience that dreams really can become reality.
