[REDACTED]: The CTF Signal Returns

Session Format: 5 hours CTF (with pizza!).

The lab is darkening. The infrastructure is booting. On June 5th, the signal returns.

We've been working behind the scenes with the team at Hack The Box to bring something special to BSides Ottawa. We’re not ready to declassify the full mission parameters just yet, but if you’ve walked the HTB path before, you know exactly the kind of atmosphere we’re building: dynamic, challenging, and built for those who love solving the unknown.

This isn't just a competition; it’s a Community gathering.

Whether you’re a student just beginning to decode the stack or a seasoned practitioner who can pivot through a network in your sleep, there is a place for you in the lab.

The Intelligence Brief

• The Style: We’re sticking to the classic HTB DNA you know and love; multi-domain challenges that test your skills across a broad landscape.
• The Inclusivity: The gates are open to everyone. We have tiered objectives ranging from "Entry-Level" to "Deep-Water" complexity.
• The Goal: Uncover the flags, share your tradecraft, and connect with the Ottawa security community in a high-energy environment.

To participate, you will need:

1. Your Toolkit: A laptop with your preferred environment (VMs, tools, and curiosity).
2. The Mindset: A willingness to validate hypotheses and out-learn the challenge.
