Advents Gala: A Night of Music, Stories, and Reflection

A musical highlight of the evening will be the performances by Charlie Green. The young British singer has long been delighting audiences in his home country and internationally with his strong voice and charming performance. At the age of 11 he successfully took part in the British TV talent show "Britain's Got Talent", later toured the world with a big band and is currently on tour with his gospel album "The 90 and 9". Charlie Green is a staunch Christian and Salvation soldier and has already performed at the Salvation Army's traditional Christmas event in the sold-out Royal Albert Hall in London.
The Salvation Army's German Staff Band will also participate in the Advent gala. Under the direction of Dr. Howard Evans, the brass band will present a rousing potpourri of popular winter and Christmas melodies. Singing along to many of the pieces is expressly encouraged! Inspiring stories for the Advent and Christmas season round off the varied program.
