Excited to announce the next Bitcoin MeetUp! We're bringing out the Woman power for this one. Last months meetup with Mayor Ken Sim was amazing with 150 people so if you missed it, feel free to check out the recording here. Thanks for coming and let's keep the momentum going!

This month we'll be welcoming Mags Gronowska!
Through compelling case studies from around the world, Mags will explore five strategic advantages that Bitcoin mining can bring to nations: energy security, financial independence and national security, economic sovereignty for resource poor nations, environmental and climate benefits, and socioeconomic benefits. Her insights will present Bitcoin mining as a transformative tool for energy and economic policy, offering a new pathway for national stability amid rising geopolitical tensions.

Mags Gronowska advises PRTI, a waste tire to energy Bitcoin mining company. She helped launch the first publicly traded Bitcoin fund in Canada and is a Quadriga Bankruptcy Inspector. Mags spent a decade advising on energy, low carbon, and economic development policy in Canada.

Also, we’ll be running a “Bitcoin BaseLayer” session in the breakout room! This will be a beginner level presentation on Bitcoin with a focus on self custody. How to get BTC off exchanges and into your possession. This will be conducted by Kurtis and will be great for anyone looking to take the self sovereignty step.
