Stefan talk abstract: Finding the root cause of errors can be a real challenge in modern distributed systems where one fault can cascade to all related applications, making it a daunting task of going through endless error codes, messages, and descriptions. In this talk, Stefan will show you how he and his team have “tamed” an LLM to analyze this multitude of information and give engineers a better idea of where they should start their root cause analysis. He'll walk through the architecture, the technology choices behind it, and the real-world challenges of working with the newest AI tools. Most importantly, he'll explain how they moved beyond the typical chatbot model to treat LLM output as a structured, reliable service.
