Study group - Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark

if you are attending the "Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark (https://www.edx.org/course/introduction-big-data-apache-spark-uc-berkeleyx-cs100-1x)" - the edX online course - and would like to meet to discuss the assignments (kind of a study group), we have Dan Serban (https://www.meetup.com/Bucharest-Big-Data-Meetup/members/37021982/) that volonteered to organize such a meeting next week. We have got a couple of such requests and looks like there are a couple of you attending thus thanks Dan for taking the lead in organizing this.

This will be the first in a series of study sessions here in Bucharest for both EdX MOOCs (Massively Open Online Classes) on Apache Spark.

I will bring with me the book "Learning Spark", which has a substantial chapter on Spark's machine learning module called MLlib.
