On this edition, powered by Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, we will welcome one special guest: Nicolas Boitout, Head of Center of Excellence in AI, Analytics & Automation @ Societe Generale Global Solution Centre

Presentation title: IT Professionals – What you need to know on Data & Machine Learning
Abstract: The more data you have, the more insights you can generate. Using Data Science, you can uncover patterns you didn’t even know existed. Data Science (Machine Learning, AI) can bring a lot to IT monitoring, to support functions – for efficiency, automation, or even for practicing of environmentally sustainable computing (Green IT). During this meetup session, Nicolas will present the stack of technologies and mindset that every DevOps and IT professionals now need to develop on data.

Bio: Nicolas has been a data scientist for 20 years. He has been living in Bucharest for 9 years, working for Societe Generale Global Solution Center in Romania since the early days of the IT division – now an IT Hub with more than 700 specialist and experts. Currently, Nicolas leads the center of excellence in data science and automation, and one of his primary objectives at Societe Generale is data science for IT.
