An exploratory talk about Deployment Patterns of HashiCorp Consul as a fully fledged Service Mesh solution that solves the networking and security challenges of operating applications at scale.

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools are addressing different needs when representing Infrastructure requirements. Based on the feedback from the previous session, I will talk about Configuration vs Orchestration Management and when to use a certain IaC tool, with focus on Terraform and Packer.
