Talk #1

Title: IOT abstraction with OSGi

Abstract: Today IOT is a lot of fun, but can be also frustrating for a software developer to do actual apps around devices.
We'll start with a basic setup and see how an open standard will enhance things. IOT means also data (lots of it :) ) so we are preparing an experiment to handle it in some unusual ways. Once the captured data is brought into the Mongo DB, we will try to have a less common approach over AEM components, and use it as an input for the most innovative enterprise CRM system of the moment.

Speakers:

  1. Razvan Ancuta
Razvan began his software engineering career with C/C++ development.
At some point he decided to make the switch to Java, while flirting a bit with Front-End technologies as well. Currently Razvan is working as Back-end Software Engineer @netcentric on AEM projects. He is very interested in data science, scalability and performance.

  2. Narcis Stefanescu
Narcis is a software engineer with a solid background in Java development since the early Apache Struts era. He also takes interest in fields like data science and machine learning.
Now he is working @netcentric as a Senior Back-end Developer on AEM projects.

Title: Reactive state management in Angular apps with NgRx

Abstract: State management is one of the most important topics in frontend development today. Maintaining an understandable and traceable flow of data within our applications is crucial both for performance and code usability. For this, the Angular team has decided to embrace unidirectional data flow and make it central in the way we architect our apps and organize our components. This presentation will take you on a journey to understand the Redux principles of state management and how we can use NgRx with the power of Observables and Reactive Extensions for JavaScript (RxJS) to control data as it flows through our Angular application.

Speaker: Andrei Antal
Andrei Antal is a Frontend Engineer with extensive experience in frontend technologies. He delivered both large and small projects using various frontend technologies such as Angular, React, VueJS, AngularJS and Ionic. He also organizes the Angular Bucharest meetup group (ngBucharest) and in his free time he teaches people about Angular through workshops or presentations, both in the community and at conferences.
