In our kick-off at Lenovo we identified it as also one of the hardest cultural and psychological barriers that we face, one that triggers our risk aversion, fear of authority, and overreliance on external motivation.

Speakers:

Alin Dumitru is Engineering Manager at Google with over 10 years of experience building, developing, and managing cross-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams. Possessing more than 20 years of experience in engineering across domains including networking, tooling, web technologies, Wear OS, and Android app development.

Anne Dumitrache is an experienced trainer, organizational, cognitive-behavioral and clinical psychologist, and internationally certified coach. With 18 years in the IT industry — from developer to program manager for Fortune 500 companies — and over 14 years in leadership, she brings deep expertise in people management and organizational growth. Anne is the creator of the Build Better Leaders Academy, now at its 40th edition with nearly 200 leaders trained, and has designed impactful programs on leadership, the future of soft skills, mental health, diversity and inclusion, hybrid working, mentoring, and personal development.

Cătălin Stoiovici is Head of Development at NTT Data UK & Ireland, recognized for his strategic insight and strong leadership. Driven by a “Fail Fast, Learn Faster” philosophy, he has managed multi-million-dollar budgets and led transformative engineering initiatives to boost efficiency and accelerate release cycles. Beyond his leadership, Catalin is a dedicated coach and mentor, committed to talent development and building a thriving engineering culture.
