#22 Designing State Machines with Symfony Workflow & Async Event Processing

This time we are going to talk about 2 exciting topics: State machines and Async events processing.

First, we are welcoming Hugo Hamon, a PHP & Symfony certified developer with extensive experience, including nine years at SensioLabs—the creators of Symfony—where he worked as a web developer, head of training, and software architect.

Andreea Cojocaru is making her second appearance in our community! After previously walking us through how Adore Me developed its own loyalty program, she’s now back to share some Async Event Magic.

Join us for a walkthrough on how AdoreMe handles async event processing with PHP. We’ll share how we use Laravel, RabbitMQ to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll hear about our pub-sub setup, the types of events and consumers we work with, and a few lessons we’ve learned along the way.
