🌍 Who This Walk Is For

This walk is open to tourists, expats, and locals who enjoy exploring the city on foot, meeting new people, and enjoy urban landsacpes.

If you like peaceful parks and lake views but also enjoy the energy of busy boulevards and modern glass architecture, this walk is for you.

Note: The walk is conducted in English to ensure inclusive participation, as the group includes international members.

🗓 Schedule

We will leave at 11:30 AM, but I strongly recommend arriving earlier.
I will be there starting at 11:10 AM to greet participants, make introductions, and start on time.
The walk will last approximately 2,5 - 3h hours - slow paced with breaks.

🚶 The Walk
The total distance is about 6 km.

We’ll start in front of Buongiorno Italian Restaurant

We will take:
• A short break Floreasca Park and Floreasca Lake Park
• A longer break in Verdi Park and Hotel Caro Park where we can admire a temporary outdoor sculpture exposition for free :)

We end the walk at Promenada Mall where we can have lunch together at the food court (near Aurel Vlaicu Metro station or tram no.5)

• Parks and lake views ⛰️ - expect to sit on grass if there are not enough benches 🍃

🎒 What to Bring

• Comfortable walking shoes 👟
• Water 💧
• A snack / protein bar for the park breaks 🍫
• Sunscreen if it’s a sunny day ☀️
• An umbrella / raincoat in case of light rain ☔
• A little blanket or cover in case you are ok resting on the grass

The event will take place even if the weather is cloudy or there is light rain. It will only be cancelled in case of heavy rain or very strong wind.
