Smokey Mountains and Carolina's too!

Details

This is an early fall riding tour. Leaves may just begin to change and the scenery is unmatched. We will ride through the beautiful Appalachian and Smoky mountains and hit highlights including Skyline Drive, Asheville North Carolina, the famous Tail of the Dragon plus lots of other fantastic routes along the way.

We will pass through parts of Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina. We will sample the fine food of the region and taste local beers, bourbon and moonshine too! We will stay in resorts, bed and breakfasts, lodges and hotels along the way.

Any other important details:
This ride will include some twisty roads and mountain riding with climbs and descents. It is certainly manageable for intermediate and more advanced riders. Two-up riding may be challenging for some riders.

What to bring: Weather appropriate riding gear – seasonal fall riding clothing and gloves may be required. We may do some light hiking to see sights and lookouts along the way so light hiking or other comfortable walking shoes will be helpful.

A helmet with communication gear installed is preferred...we can help if you are not set up with this yet.
