Breakfast Walk to New Hope and Lambertville

Join me on my breakfast walk along the Towpath of the Delaware Canal State Park through New Hope, Lambertville and the D&R Canal. While in Lambertville, we can stop at Union Coffee where we can enjoy breakfast/brunch/coffee/snacks to go.

This will be a 5-6 mile out and back moderately paced, flat walk mostly on compacted dirt canal paths and on sidewalks in New Hope and Lambertville. In addition to scenic canal and river views, we can visit some old abandoned graffiti covered rail cars. Expect some mud if recent rain.

We'll meet at 8am in the Canal Park parking lot located off Rt 32 just north of New Hope. (meet at farthest end of lot from Rt 32 near the foot bridge that crosses the canal.)

Rest Rooms available at the halfway point.
Please bring cash/plastic if you plan on purchasing food/drink.

Members of all skill levels, whether using an iPhone or DSLR, will have many opportunities for photos while we are walking on this hike.
