Lake Galena Hike and Peace Valley Lavender Farm

This will be a 5ish mile round trip moderately paced, mostly flat hike on the paved trails around Lake Galena. (Note: we’ll do this as an out and back rather than looping the lake). At the midpoint we'll stop in at the Peace Valley Lavender Farm which hopefully should be at peak bloom.

We will meet at the Galena Village Boat Rental building at 9am (parking in lot on Meyers Rd.). Restrooms available at Parking Lot.

Option for lunch after hike.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water and snacks.

Members of all skill levels, whether using an iPhone or DSLR, will have many opportunities for photos while we are walking on this hike.

Steady rain cancels event. Update will be posted in Meetup by 6am the day of the event.
