Not Your Run of the Mill Breakfast Walk

Join me on a 5ish mile photo walk along the Towpath of the Delaware Canal State Park from the Virginia Forrest Parking Area to Lumberville General Store where we can enjoy breakfast/brunch/coffee/snacks at the indoor or outdoor tables.

On the way back, we'll detour off the towpath to photograph an historic old mill and the surrounding creek. Hopefully, we'll encounter bald eagles, woodpeckers, herons and wood ducks that inhabit the area.

The hike will be a little over 5 miles of walking on the packed dirt canal tow path and some paved country roads. Some muddy patches possible.

We will begin introductions at 8:30am at the Virginia Forrest Parking Area of the Delaware Canal State Park located on Rt 32, north of the Stockton Bridge. Use Google Maps to navigate to Virginia Forrest Parking Area, Delaware Canal State Park. Rest Rooms available at Parking Area and at Lumberville General Store.

Please bring cash/plastic if you plan on purchasing food/drink in Lumberville.

Members of all skill levels, whether using an iPhone or DSLR, will have many opportunities for photos while we are walking on this hike.
