Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve Photo Walk

Details
Bowman's Wildflower Preserve has about 4.5 miles of trails that wind through forest and meadows, and along streams and ponds.
There is a $12 admission fee ($9 for age 65 and up) to enter the gardens.
Plan to arrive when gates open at 9am. We will begin introductions at 9:15 outside the entrance to the Visitor Center. Restrooms available at Visitor Center.
We'll spend 2-3 hours leisurely walking the grounds (3-4 miles). Some mild hills, grassy meadows, wooded paths and paved paths. We'll have opportunities to photograph many garden areas, ponds, creeks, sculptures and historic buildings. Highlights include 2 scenic ponds, a picturesque stone bridge, Pidcock Creek and waves of summer wildflower blooms. Wildlife includes birds, frogs, turtles and fox.
After the walk, you are encouraged to head back to your favorite sections of the preserve for more in-depth photography or to just relax and "forest bathe" on one of the many benches.
Members of all skill levels will have many opportunities for photos while participating on this walk.
Remember to wear appropriate footwear and bring a snack and water. Dress for the weather.
