Labor Day Tyler State Park Social Hike

Weather for Labor Day morning is looking to be in the 60s (did I just jinx us!?)

Join us for a moderate paced 6ish mile walk at picturesque Tyler State Park with a stop at the covered bridge. We'll walk a mixture of wooded, grassy and paved paths with some short upward and downward inclines and possibly a very, very short stream bed crossing over rocks (most likely dry). Hiking shoes strongly recommended. Hiking poles may be helpful for wooded paths. Plenty of bailout points to paved paths for those that want a shorter walk.

We'll begin introductions at 8am in the Tyler State Park Boathouse Lot. Restrooms available at start of the hike.

Bring along plenty of water and snacks. Steady rain cancels - check Meetup by 6am if in doubt. Dress for the weather in layers.
