Canal-O-Ween is an annual week-long lighting of 300+ carved Jack-O-Lanterns along the historic Delaware Canal in downtown Yardley.

We will meet at the Yardley Park and Ride lot (enter "Yardley Park and Ride" in Google Maps) at 5pm and embark on a 2 hour out and back walk through Yardley, and along the Delaware Canal Towpath. Along the way, we will pass under one of the historic camel back bridges and explore an old canal lock.

On the way out, we will pass the Canal-o-ween display while it is still light and on the return, we'll pass it again in time to enjoy the candlelit jack-o-lanterns in the dark.

You may want to bring a headlamp or flashlight for the walk back to the cars.

After the walk, feel free to drive back into Yardley for dinner at one of the many restaurants.

There will be many photo opportunities for members of all skill levels, whether you're using an iPhone or DSLR. Feel free to bring a light-weight tripod.

We will be walking on flat sidewalks and a compacted dirt towpath. The last half hour of the walk will be dark - a headlamp or flashlight is recommended.

Steady rain cancels event.

If you sign up for this event and your plans change, please remember to update your RSVP in Meetup.
