Pennypack Trail and Bryn Athen Cathedral (6ish Miles)

This will be a 6ish mile mostly flat loop with a short hill. Our path will take us on the Pennypack Rail Trail and the more scenic Creek Road Trail. We'll then take local streets to get to the Bryn Athen Cathedral and Glencairn "Castle". Expect some rocky, gravelly and exposed root surfaces on the trails as well as a short hill.

This is a very scenic walk with multiple photo opportunities along the Pennypack Creek, Bryn Athen Cathedral and Glencairn Museum. Hopefully we'll spot eagles, herons and other wildlife along the way.

We'll meet in the parking area off of Byberry Rd. in Huntingdon Valley. A Port-a-Potty will be available at the trail entrance and at the halfway point.

Remember to wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather. Bring water and a snack.
