Philly Chocolates and Baked Goods Walk

NOTE: This is an extremely popular event. The walk will be limited to a small group size to minimize wait times at each of the stops. Please only sign up if you are certain that you can attend. That being said, don't fear the waitlist - people will drop and I will probably bump up the group size if I see extraordinary demand.

This is a 5-6 mile fast paced walk with 6-10 stops at some of Philly's best chocolate shops, bakeries and coffee shops. We'll be taking a different route this trip, trying some new places as well as some of our past favorites. In order to hit all our stops, you'll need to be able to keep up at a slightly faster pace than normal.

We will begin introductions outside the Market Street entrance to the Independence Visitor Center (corner of Market and 6th) at 10am. Rest Rooms available in Visitor Center.

From there we will start our walk which will take us through many Philly neighborhoods, each with their own character. We will be visiting 6-10 locations with a variety of chocolate treats and baked goods, so bring your appetite (and/or a large backpack!).

I'll be taking the 8:32 train from the Woodbourne Station on the West Trenton SEPTA Line arriving at Jefferson Station at 9:27. It is a short walk to Independence Visitor Center from there.

Remember to wear appropriate footwear and dress for the weather.
