***DO NOT NAVIGATE TO SILVER LAKE NATURE CENTER. We will meet 1/2 mile south of Silver Lake Nature Center in the Parking Lot for Silver Lake Park off Bath Road in Bristol, PA. The entrance to the lot is across the street from Chancey's Country Garden. See Map Pin.***

This walk has a little bit of everything. We'll start at Silver Lake and explore the nature trails and Nature Center before heading thru the streets of Bristol to the Delaware Canal and Industrial Historic District famous for the Grundy Mill Clock Tower. We'll then head over to the Delaware River waterfront to explore the National Register Homes in the Bristol Borough Historic district. From there we'll visit the monuments at Riverfront Park. Before heading back to Silver Lake, we'll make a pit stop at the Bristol Sunday Stroll Street Fair to explore the food and craft booths.

Restrooms available after the first half mile of the hike.

Our path will take us over many surfaces, including: Boardwalks, Compressed Dirt, Sidewalks and goose poop. Choose your footwear wisely.

Remember to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather and bring water.

Steady rain cancels event. Update will be posted in Meetup by 7am the morning of the hike.
